Mail Art to Sumi Senthi
This week I send @SumiSenthi her second installment of goodies. First I made the envelope from an atlas page. I particularly like this one cause it has a a timeline of animals and dinosaurs on it.
In the package: - Hand-Typed letter on a vintage map page with a paper butterfly sewn on to it.
- Hand-Typed words from the dictionary and their definitions, based on Owls.
- Paper Ephemera from old books.
- Victorian Advertisement.
- 2x Vintage playing cards and details on a map shop in Edinburgh.
- 4x hand-made stamp montages.
- and a box diorama which I attached some old marbled paper to the front (I made the paper when I was at college), I also stuck vintage map pages to the inside, with a family of deer and a hand drawing of a compass which has a flap that can lifted up to see the dial underneath. I also put a little drawing of a compass on the back of the box.
I'm so happy you like all the things I sent you, Sumi :)
