Mail Art to Mr Rubbertoes

This is my first mail art package to @Mr. Rubbertoes aka Robert Loouis Sae-Heng. I heard he likes Walrus's so I made sure I added some of them. First up I used my mums old Letra set to write his name on a piece of card, I love the types I have used here. A letter, using one from my Allan and Janet Ahlberg collection. I also sent some of the stamp montages I have been making, a Walrus illustration from a book I bought recently and an altered book page of a 'Red Tailed Hawk', along with a hand-typed description of it. Inspired by the garland my friend @Katie Whittington gave me a while back, I made Robert an illustrated one of a Walrus family. He mentioned on twitter the other day a hand-knitted bow-tie he wanted, so I said I would try and make him one. I think it turned out really well. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the envelope...damn it. Anyhooo, glad your happy with the goodies dude.

Little buys and Window Display

Today I bought all these threads, yarns and 'Wuthering Heights' Book all for £1. I have also put up some pictures of a window display I did at my charity shop.

Mail Art to Jessica Gowling

A few weeks ago I sent the awesome @Jessica Gowling her second mail art installment. I thought this package was never going to get to her, but it made it...Yay!!! I knew Jessica loved this envelope I made (which I had posted on another blog post from a while back) and I just had to send her goodies in it :) On the front I stuck a print of a squirrel I made last Christmas. I sent some hand-made stamp montages, details on Barter books, and a hand-typed letter which I sew'd together to make into a little book. Also sent some paper ephemera and a hand-typed definition of the word 'Bear'. I sent Jessica a Box Diorama in her last package so this time I did a Book Diorama. I thought I would do a sea life theme, something a little different, plus the book itself is about sea and seashore. I'm so happy you like your treats Miss Gowling :)
