D.I.Y Beaded Bracelets




I have been making some more bracelets for myself using lots of beads (some are vintage glass and pearl) that I haven't used in a long time. Its quite hard to get them at the right length sometimes as you don't want them to be too tight. I would like to make some seed bead ones at some point but the elastic I have is a little too thick, but for the time being I'm quite happy with what I have made.




The Friendship bracelet below is one I bought from a little shop on Etsy called 'My Mums Beaded Bracelets' and it only cost me £1.30. I think the man who sells them is under selling in my opinion. I just thought this design was so unique and in keeping with all the Aztec fashion that has been around. In fact I wouldn't mind an autumn coloured version of the one I bought. There isn't much in his shop now but if you asked I'm sure his mum would be happy to make one in the colours or shape you wanted.

  2. I really like the bracelet you made at the top of your post - especially the 'rough cut' beads. The Aztec style bracelet you bought is lovely and I agree with you that he is under selling them... Topshop could copy the design and sell it for £6 or more.
