Mail Art to The Second Magpie

This mail art was very much over due, but I finally got some neat little pieces together for the wonderfully talented Sarah Hutchinson Burke (aka The Second Magpie). I'm always trying to think of something new to do add to my mail art goody packages and recently I have enjoyed making paper garlands and altered book pages. The book page I gave Sarah says 'time paused over distance with thoughts for the sea and of two cats'. Its amazing what words you can combine together with an old book page. I sent lots of paper ephemera, postage stamps, stamp montages, buttons, cameos, first day stamps based on ships in the Antarctic, hand made peace and yin yang sign buttons (you can buy my buttons here) and of course I added one of my paper garlands.

Tim Easley

The super duper talented illustrator Tim Easley was giving away a few of his handmade notebooks and I was one of the lucky winners. Not only did I get the notebook which is awesome, but I got a load of stickers and badge too. I especially love the ship bottle, you guys know I love my nautical goodies. You guys must take a look at Tim's website and visit his Etsy shop (there is even a one-off hand drawn skate deck on there with tents on it, how cool is that). Thank you so much Tim I love all the items you sent me.
