Long Over Due.....

I am so behind on mail art (slaps me self on hand) and Sumi Senthi has been so so patient with me but she finally got some goodies. I kinda went a bit mad with the planet envelope, but I would jump for joy if I ever got one like this through door and I heard Sumi LOVED it.

I always like to change what I type write on and I had this sheet of floppy plastic stuff and it changes colour. Very rainbow like. The only problem was the ink from the typewriter would not dry on the surface, so I was a bit worried that the letter may turn up all smudged. Was it all intact Sumi?

I sent lots of paper ephemera and stamps.

Made some Stamp montages. The bottom one shows Saint Michelle which is an island in Normandy, France. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too and quite magical. You guys should check it out. I've not been there since I was a child, but I remember it so well.

Made another one of my paper garlands using an old atlas page from the early 1920's of the Virgin Islands and added in some of my hand-made buttons.

I think this is one of my favourite altered book pages I have made so far. The words read 'River water now exhausted crossing deeper sand without a single sound, ran through two great mountain ranges'. I loved the illustration that was originally on the page and no way was I gonna paint over it.
