Ohh Deer look what I won :)

I won these wonderful notebooks from an online company called Ohh Deer. The notebooks were part of a competition, which I submitted too. You had to design a pattern/illustration based on the title 'Stuck on Repeat'. The designs that won are great and a few of my fellow illustrators who already contribute to the site also had one of their illustrations printed on notebooks too. Ohh Deer have another competition running which I would like to submit too, see details here. Make sure to look at the online shop and you will see wonderful work by my friends Tim EasleySandra DieckmannJamie MillsHarriet Gray and Alice Potter. Thank you so much Ohh Deer for the awesome notebooks, I can't wait to use them and the designs are beautiful.

Don't you just love picking up Freebies?

You'll have to excuse some of my photos, I'm not good at taking ones of magazines, but I wanted to show you guys how great these freebies are. I went into town on Tuesday just to do some window shopping and really enjoy'd just looking around and not buying any clothes or jewellery, ha ha makes a change. Well on my travels I picked up a couple of free magazines from Topshop and UO. I got the ASOS one in the post (obviously). I like that they sometimes have coupon codes inside which is always a bonus.

I love everything about Urban Outfitters except their stupid prices, but they really know how to present their clothing and accessories. I always want to buy their jewellery and they had some beautiful tops and jumpers in. I love all of these photographs and the how the clothes have been combined. I love the clashing patterns and ugly shoes that are out such as creepers (they are on my wishlist).

I always like to have a browse through the Asos magazine and there are some great pieces in it. I love the tie dye and space dye style in at the moment. I'm planning on doing a bit of DIY on t-shirts using the tie dye and dip dye methods (which I will blog about).

Topshop's colour range is so beautiful at the momemt with all the pastels and shiny metallic's. Again another over priced shop but I do love the eccentricity of Topshops style and how they present in their shops.

A forgotten gem

I'm starting to take pictures of how I wear my rings, bracelets, etc. I like to wear lots of rings on both hands, but I need more rings as I actually don't have many. The little silver one above the knuckle was my first ever ring from my childhood and I even remember where I bought it. I keep wearing my new mood moon ring. The tiny mood ring next to it was given to me at the age of 10 from a girl in my school class. A few years my lovely auntie bought me this beautiful real silver, hand crafted Mexican ring which has a Carnelian gemstone on it. I haven't worn it for ages and so I wore it yesterday and will a lot more from now. I love the swirl shape of it and I think it goes beautifully with my other rings. I know my nails look crap at the mo but I promise next time I will have them polished maybe even with glitter. We all need a bit of glitter in our lives.
