Rocks and Gems

Today I went to the Rock, Gem and Bead show at Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth Park. I have been to this show before a couple of years back and was really impressed with the quality of goods for sale. I know it sounds silly but I can tell the difference in the quality of rocks and gems. There was so much I wanted but I only took £6 with me (I didn't even spend all of that either).

Above (Bottom of photo) - Selenite Wand 50p
Below - Fuchsite
(One piece is very glittery and the other is more rounded and shiny on the surface) 50p Each.

Citrine £1

Amethyst £1

The next two rocks are ones my mum has bought me for Christmas....this is seriously gonna be the longest 6 months of my life.....I want them NOW!

Bismuth £5

I have been wanting a piece of Bismuth for ages. I love the oxidised colours, formations and shapes created, everything about it is just wonderful. The formation looks like stairs with Greek patterns on them don't ya think?

Labradorite £5

This is probably my most favourite stone in the whole world....the darker the better as the colours make it look like a pool of water. The colours are to die for.

So now all I need is a vintage Letter press tray to display them in, so you have one you want to sell please get in touch with me.
